Calumet Township Trustee Office reduces hours

Customers and vendors must use telephone to communicate with office
In accordance with the latest guidelines from the CDC and local governments, Calumet Township Trustee Kimberly Robinson has decided to reduce normal hours of operation.
The township’s Main Office at 610 Connecticut Street will open Monday through Thursday, from 8am to 1pm. Until further notice, customers and vendor interaction will be via telephone, 219 880-4000.
“We are working closely with all service providers in an effort to avoid interruption of services,” Robinson said. “This includes NIPSCO, Indiana American Water, Gary Sanitary District, funeral directors, landlords, and other local vendors.”
Regular and scheduled activities at the Multi-Purpose Center, 1900 W. 41st Avenue, have been cancelled and will not accept bookings until further notice. For more information about the MPC, call 219 880-4901.
