Lake County Prosecutor's Office Domestic Violence Awareness and Response Training

The Lake County Prosecutor’s Office is pleased to extend an invitation to all clergy members to attend a specialized Domestic Violence Awareness and Response Training session designed specifically for faith leaders.

This training, facilitated by Fair Haven Rape Crisis Center, will equip clergy members with a deeper understanding of domestic violence, enable them to recognize warning signs, provide appropriate referrals, and support congregants experiencing abuse.

This meeting is scheduled for April 28th beginning at 10 a.m. at the Purdue Extension Building located at 2293 N. Main St in Crown Point.

We welcome, not only clergy, but also women’s ministry groups and those in pastoral or supportive roles. The training offers a critical opportunity to gain essential tools and resources, ultimately enhancing your ability to protect and service your community.

If you’d like to attend, please email Myrna Maldonado Public Information Officer at mmaldonado@lakepros.org. Seating is limited, so please confirm your attendance today.
