Indiana University Northwest will highlight faculty research and innovation during its IU Bicentennial event, “A Celebration of Faculty Research,” from 1:30 to 4 p.m., Friday, Sept. 27 in the Theater at the Arts & Sciences Building.

The event is free and open to the public.

The event is part of IU’s statewide 200 Festival, which serves as the official kick-off to IU’s yearlong bicentennial celebration. Taking place between September 19 and 28, the 200 festival will host events and activities that invite IU community members to celebrate, chronicle, document and explore all that makes IU the world-class university it is today.

As part of that celebration, IU campuses across the state, including IU Northwest, are highlighting the work of faculty researchers to show how their innovations are making an impact in Indiana and around the world.

Fifteen faculty members will present a series of eight-minute TEDx-style talks to enlighten the campus community about the important work and impact of faculty scholarship. They are:

Additionally, we are creating a webpage to feature our outstanding faculty presenters over time.”
