Indiana State Police seek help to investigate shooting on 1-80/94

The Indiana State Police Criminal Investigations Division Lowell Post is investigating an interstate shooting that occurred in the evening of Saturday, February 17 on I-80/94.
Preliminary investigation shows that at approximately 5:15 p.m. Saturday, a crash occurred on I-80/94 near Burr St.
The investigation shows that the driver of a 2009 Ford Escape was struck by gunfire and as a result, crashed the vehicle into the median wall. The driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Detectives are requesting anyone with any information, whether it be eyewitness accounts or in-car video of the incident, to contact Detective Campione at (219) 696-6242.
